The Schedule D 4 Done main screen is very straightforward and easy to understand as the screenshot below illustrates. Gone are the days where you have to match your trade transactions by hand.


You will need to obtain your trading transactions from your brokerage account (this can be easily done by contacting your broker). Most brokers allow you to download your trading data via their secure Website. Once you have your trading data in electronic format you will import it into the Schedule D 4 Done program. Please note your data is secure and we do not have access to your trading information at any time while you are using the SD4D program.
The Merge Setup button makes importing your trade transaction data very simple. Any trade transaction data shown on this page is for illustration purposes only. See image below:


If your headings do not match the headings in the spreadsheet after you have merged your data, not to worry, simply click on the "If Needed Map Import Match Fields" button located directly under the "1. Merge Setup" button. See images above and below:


Schedule D 4 Done will calculate your long and short term capital gains for you at the click of a button. See image below:
